11th Avenue Southeast Dedication

On Wednesday, November 11th, 2009, Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity Staff gathered with board members, volunteers, Thrivent Financial representatives, neighbors, and of course, the excited partner families to celebrate the dedication of the twin home on 11th Avenue Southeast.

Words of thanks and excitement were spoken by Bruce Johnson, Executive Director, along with Board Member Pastor Kris Anderson of Salem Lutheran Church and Thrivent Financial representative Scott Kottke. House-warming gifts were presented to the partner families by Family Services Coordinator and Thrivent representatives Greg Larson and Amanda Carins. We concluded the ceremony with a blessing from Pastor John Kroschel of Atonement Lutheran Church.

After the ceremony everyone enjoyed refreshments provided by our partner families and the St. Cloud Thrivent Financial representatives and took a tour of the house to see where all the hard work has led us.

The event was a wonderful success and, as always, it was so glorious to see the smiles on the faces of the soon-to-be homeowners as they shared their excitement and thanks with the members of the community that helped make their dream of homeownership a reality.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to making sure these homes would be ready so these families can be 'home for the holidays'!

Thank you St. Cloud HRA!

We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to the St. Cloud HRA for their continued support and partnership. We would not have been able to complete these homes without them.

THANK YOU!
