A Brush With Kindness is a nation-wide program serving low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes (includes maintenance/repair services such as painting, minor exterior repairs, landscaping, and exterior clean-up).
It uses volunteers, donated materials and no interest loans to makes repairs affordable, helping low-income homeowners continue to live independently and securely in their homes.

Homeowner Participation Requirements
· You must have been a homeowner in St. Cloud for the past 12 months
· You must have homeowner insurance and be current with your property taxes
· You must agree to be home at all times there are volunteers on site.
· All able-bodied residents in your home (including yourself) will volunteer alongside other volunteers during the project.
· You must not intend to sell the home for three years after completion of the project (except for special circumstances, e.g. illness).
· You will be honest on the application and disclose all information needed during the application process.
· You must fall at or below the income limits below
