Helping at a Fundraising Event
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity has fundraising events throughout the year.  Volunteers are needed at the specific events to help set up, staff the event, and clean up.  If you are interested in a one-time volunteer opportunity, contact the Volunteer Manager at (320) 656-8890.


Being on a Fundraising Committee
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is always looking for new and interesting ways to raise money to help families in need. Plus, there are fundrasising events already set up during the year where volunteers are needed to be on a committee.  Fundraising volunteers would work with the Development Department to contact potential and current donors, help with special event planning, and help with grants or other means of fundraising. See the pdf below for some ideas of fundraising events you can do on your own, or contact the Development Director if you are interested in being on a current committee.

Skills

Any previous fundraising experience is preferred but not required. Volunteers should have good written and verbal skills, knowledge or willingness to learn about the philanthropic community, and be detailed-oriented.

Time Commitment

3-4 hours one time per week, but scheduling is flexible.

Training and Supervision

Training and supervision will be done by the Development Department staff.
