CMBA Gives To Habitat
The Central Minnesota Builders Association (CMBA) presented the 38th annual HomeShow. With the admissions charged at the HomeShow, CMBA is able to provide contributions to the Food Shelf and Habitat For Humanity. Donations of $3000 to the Caritas Food Shelf, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity were made in March for Minnesota FoodShare Month.

The CMBA $2000 donation is part of the collective effort to restock food shelves across the state. Each dollar will be matched nearly one-to-one by Minnesota FoodShare.  Over 45 tons of food and over $47,000 in cash donations have been made from CMBA HomeShow admissions, since 1990.

CMBA has contributed over $19,000 to Habitat for Humanity. Along with the monetary donation from CMBA, countless donations of building materials and hours of labor are contributed each year by CMBA members.

CMBA is a nonprofit local trade association affiliated with the Builders Association of Minnesota and the National Association of Home Builders. The association is comprised of more than 500 members involved in all phases of the building industry.
