Habitat for Humanity Helps Haiti

Haiti's needs were staggering before January 12, 2010. The magnitude-7.0-earthquake that struck that day increased the needs many times over, creating a tragedy that demands a bold response. Habitat for Humanity International, with its proven expertise and dedication to simple, durable, affordable housing, is committed to delivering that kind of response. HFHI has launched an ambitious $60-80 million campaign to provide decent shelter for 50,000 low-income Haitian families over the next five years.

Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH) joined affiliates across the country in helping reach that goal by raising $1835 by Saturday, March 20th, 2010.  CMFHF Board and staff pledged a $1 for $1 match of funds donated up to $1000!  We appreciate your help!

Thank you for helping Habitat for Humanity develop and support livelihoods for those affected by the earthquake in Haiti.
