Donovan Lakes Home Dedications

Here at Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity nothing makes us happier than putting families into safe, decent, affordable housing and this year we were able to dedicate four homes from foreclosed units we acquired at Donovan Lakes!
On June 23rd, 2009 and then on November 4th, 2009 Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity closed on its 56th, 57th, 58th and 59th homes! The homes are all purchased out of foreclosure about a year and half ago. Donovan Lakes is a four-plex community of town homes. One of the two properties that we purchased was partially constructed and we started the renovation in February and completed it by November of this year.
The four families that closed on these units are Andria Carlson and her children Malorie & Riley, and Lisa Sanders and Ferrice Means with their children Cortez and Shakea, Farhiyo Buluf and Ali Ibrahim and their children
Abdiaziz, Maryan, Maaiel Said, and Michelle McEwen and her son Ben. Congratulations on all of the hard work, time and talents that you all put into these homes during your sweat equity process!
Congratulations Andria, Lisa & Ferrice, Ali & Farhiyo, and Michelle!
