Josh Nelson

Josh was born and raised in the building industry, so naturally after coming on board at the bank he was seeking out some sort of opportunity to become involved in building again.
In the summer of 2006 Josh joined the construction committee for Habitat for Humanity. Then, in the spring of 2007 there was an opportunity in Foley for Habitat for Humanity to build, so he volunteered to chair that project. After an 18 month fundraising and building process the project was done and Josh's connection with Habitat was quickly over. Knowing he wanted to continue to be involved, but not sure in what capacity, he took some time to think about it. The spring of 2009 came about and Josh was approached by current board members Carrie Tripp and Mike Mullin and they talked about his wiliness to serve as a board member for Habitat for Humanity. Josh was honored by the invitation and quickly applied to be on the board and was elected shortly thereafter.
Josh's work outside of Habitat for Humanity is for Falcon National Bank where he is the Business Development Coordinator. Many ask, what does that mean? He is continually working on increasing the client base and improving current customer relationships. Josh has really enjoyed his time at Falcon and wants to thank them for their flexibility in his schedule and work load allowing him to be involved with Habitat for Humanity.
Josh is also currently working on his MBA at St. Cloud State in order to help develop his professional skills and further his career. Josh has been very active in the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce with the CMBA and other service organizations. He is currently a big brother for Big Brother’s Big Sisters, so he tries to spend some time with his little brother, Daunte. Outside of that, Josh enjoys time with his family and friends, loves to travel, and in the summer he plays a ton of golf.
